Chris is a 1998 graduate of Austin Peay State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.  Prior to completing college, Chris began working for a nationwide reloading supply company. Upon graduation Chris was promoted to buyer where he served for 10 years. Chris began his career with Simpson Sales covering the Western / Central Tennessee and Western / Central Kentucky territory, until he was elected President of Simpson Sales Company in May of 2018. Chris is a highly organized and responsive individual that is eager to listen and measured in his delivery. Chris enjoys outdoor activities, especially shooting and hunting with his two daughters.  Chris has won numerous awards throughout the years to include Browning Safes, Firearms and Cases Salesman of the year awards in 2013, 2014 and 2016 and Winchester Firearms Salesman of the year award in 2016.

Bill joined our Agency in August 2012 with already 16 years of experience in management. For 10 years Bill was a store, remodel and district training manager in the big box retail space and his most recent job was as a Regional Sales Manager inside the tactical apparel industry. Bill also runs our Law Enforcement and Government Division. Bill holds professionalism and integrity in very high regard, is a natural leader, and a genuine enthusiast of our industry. Bill shoots competitive pistol, precision rifle and carbine matches in his free time. Bill attended the University of West Georgia majoring in Social Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice.

Rusty joined Simpson Sales Company in October 2005 and serves as  our Sec/Treasurer. Rusty covers North Alabama, North Mississippi and West Tennessee and has been in the industry for 35+ years. Rusty began his career in the shooting sports industry with a regional wholesaler in 1984. In September 1991 he began his career as a Manufacturers Rep for another agency traveling the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi & Tennessee. He has also worked with key wholesalers in Louisiana and accounts in eastern Arkansas. Rusty has developed a lot of relationships with his customer base over the years. He is well respected for his work ethic and attention to detail, always making sure his customers know they can count on him. Rusty has a personality that makes him easy to talk to and pleasurable to be around. Rusty still finds a little time to hunt and fish. He loves spending as much time with his family as he can. He is also into music and vintage audio equipment from the 60’s & 70’s collecting vinyl records.   His awards include 2010 Bushnell East Rep of the Year. 2017 Browning Firearms Rep of the Year since joining the company.

Tilman started his career in our industry in 1976 with Crosman Airguns and Western Cutlery where he received 5 Salesman of the year awards in his 13 year span. Tilman’s career with Simpson Sales began in 1989 covering both Eastern North Carolina and Eastern South Carolina as well as our key account Big Rock Sports (Henry’s tackle). Tilman is a member of the NWTF, NRA and is an avid outdoorsman. During his time with Simpson Sales Tilman has received sales awards from Bushnell, Browning, Winchester ammo and Signature Products Group ( five years in a row).

Scott majored in Political Science / Business Administration at Fairmont St. College and served in the Army as a Combat Engineer. Scott currently covers all shooting sports dealers in the Commonwealth of Virginia and serves as a member on our Board of Directors. Prior to working for Simpson Sales, Scott worked as Operations Mgr. at a Big Box retailer, Gander Mountain and also for BPI Outdoors, where he worked in promotions and customer service. Scott also served as a freelance outdoor writer, photographer, and videographer and has been published and credited by several leading hunting magazines and television shows. He has been in the industry since 1991 and came on board with SSC in 2008. Scott is the father of two boys, Hunter and Gage. Scott is an accomplished outdoorsman and still loves chasing spring gobblers and tournament bass fishing. One of his most notable accomplishments was completing a Turkey Grand Slam in just 28 days. Scott's awards at Simpson Sales Company includes 2010 Under Armour Rep of the Year, 2010 Bushnell Rep of the Year, 2010 Eotech Top Sales Territory, and 2016-2018 Browning Full Line Dealer Award.

Barry has a BBA in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing from Georgia College as well as an Associates Degree in General Studies and Business Administration from Georgia Military College. Barry is an Industry Veteran of 42 years servicing accounts in the Columbia, South Carolina area. Barry handles our Key Accounts: Ellett Brothers, Bangers, & Palmetto State Armory. He rejoined the Agency in 2005 after being a Marlin Firearms Territory Manger for 17 years (1987-2005). Prior to that Barry worked as our Agency Sales Coordinator from 1983 until 1987. Barry’s prior experience to our industry was Senior Buyer over Fishing Tackle & Fall Goods at Service Merchandise. Barry leads by example and is an outstanding role model. Barry is an honest, professional and disciplined individual of the likes that are rarely seen today. Barry enjoys fishing and shooting sports in his free time. He was a competitive shooter in High School where his school won matches at the State & Regional level. He likes cooking on the Big Green Egg and is honing that craft. Barry is nearing retirement but his LOVE of the industry & its people keep him enjoying every minute before that time arrives.Barry Has many awards to his credit including the Salesman of the Year award 4 times.

Pat was born in Sylacauga, Alabama. After graduating from HS/JC at Marion Military Institute with honors, he finished college at the University of Alabama. He served his country as a platoon leader in the DMZ, Korea and then a platoon leader in the 2nd Ranger Battalion. Following military service, he started a fishing retail store which he sold after two years to go work as a Wholesaler Rep with Outdoor Sports Headquarters, where he remained for 9 years. In 1991, Pat started his long career as a manufacturer rep with Simpson Sales Company. Today Pat is a shareholder in the company and manages sales and marketing for independent retailers, wholesalers, and range specialty accounts in his territory. Over the years Pat has been the recipient of numerous national and regional sales awards.

Chris joined Simpson Sales Company August 1st, 2020. Chris graduated from LeMoyne College in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics. After graduation, Chris moved to Florida from New York in search of career opportunities. He is bringing over 15 years of multi-unit and big box retail leadership and management. 9 years of that experience came from managing an outdoor specialty big box retailer which focused on shooting sports, hunting, fishing, and camping in Florida. He created store sets and managed many key projects to promote seasonal growth opportunities for the Southern Region. He moved out of retail and started his sales career in 2017 with Columbia Sportswear prior to joining the Simpson Sales Team. Chris has a real passion for the outdoors, and he is part of the Central Florida Offshore Anglers (CFOA) club. Chris will spend most of his free time on the water with his family, but he will venture up to his home state of New York to get out into the woods to go hiking and hunting.

James joined our team in 2018 after managing one of our NBS dealers for over 11 years. He has over 20 years of retail management experience and vast knowledge of the outdoor industry which makes him perfect for his role with Simpson Sales. James understands all aspects of our business and is outstanding at balancing the sales/relationship dynamic. James is very technical in his product approach and is a fast learner. James attended Auburn University at Montgomery. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends his free time hunting and fishing.

Drew joined Simpson Sales in 2011 and currently covers the Central South and North Carolina territories, including key distributors and e-commerce accounts. Drew is a graduate of Florence Darlington Technical College with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Before joining Simpson Sales Drew was the Bow Technician and Buyer for Irby Street Sporting Goods. Drew has a vast understanding of the independent retail industry. Drew grew up hunting and fishing and enjoys the outdoors in his free time.

Drew joined the Simpson Sales team in March of 2020. He is a graduate of Northeast Helicopters flight school with extended education at Colorado HeliOps. Though Drew’s formal education is in aviation, his true passion lies within the firearms industry. He has submersed himself in everything firearms and sporting goods related from a young age. Drew is an avid shooter, Certified Firearms Instructor, holds his own home-based Federal Firearms License and is eager to use his passion in this industry to help meet the needs of his customers.

Scott comes to us from a Law Enforcement dealer with locations in multiple states, where he was involved in outside sales for his entire tenure. Scott has a strong back ground in body armor, weapons and munitions, duty gear, optics and tactical apparel. Scott has outstanding relationships with the agencies in his territory, a great knowledge of product and a genuine love for the industry. A short stint early in his career involving medical records also helped to hone his superb organizational skills. Scott possesses a rare combination of professionalism, personality and organization. Scott graduated from UNCW with a degree in Finance.

Robbin is our Accounting Manager and handles a wide variety of SSC responsibilities. Robbin is the glue that keeps SSC held together so well. Robbin has responsibility for all sales tracking and reporting, commission reconciliation, sample billing, payroll and other accounting responsibilities.  Robbin has a strong background with a similar sales and manufacturing group. Robbin also manages our HR inquiries. Robbin joined Simpson Sales in March of 2004 and has been a crucial in the success of Simpson Sales Company. Robbin’s no nonsense approach to keeping SSC on track is perfectly suited for the aspects of our business that she manages.

Amy comes to us with 25 years experience managing a small business, coordinating meetings, seminars and such. Her duties include: booking flights and hotels for company employees, travel to shows and factory meetings; booking hotels for company and factory personnel attending our major wholesaler shows as well as factory personnel attending other events that fall in our territory. Amy is tasked with maintaining the rooming list and coordinating with hotel sales departments. She also assists with development fund forms and tracking as well as assisting with factory and / or customer issues. Amy joined the Simpson Sales team in May of 2022.

Sam joined Simpson Sales Company in 2012 as our Retail Coordinator, Customer Service, Website Administrator and FFL Recordkeeper. Sam’s additional responsibilities include, coordinating event supplies for distributor shows, handling our dealer e-blasts, and tracking/managing various factory call report objectives. Sam also assists the President in tracking/managing reps correspondence, provides reports required from various factories and handles necessary tasks/protocol regarding rep involvement in factory obligations throughout the year. Sam was previously employed by Bass Pro Shops after he graduated college working in the hunting/firearm departments. During that time Sam broadened his knowledge and grew his already existing appreciation for our industry. Sam is a graduate of Georgia College and State University where he earned a BBA in Marketing. Sam is highly detail oriented individual which makes him perfectly suited for the important roles that he presides over at Simpson Sales Company. Sam is always eager to learn and carries an outstanding attitude at all times. Sam is a important part of Simpson Sales Company and it’s day to day activities.
